A New Jersey Vein Specialist Publishes an Article on Lies Told About Vein Treatment

June 18, 2016. Morristown, New Jersey. New Jersey Vein Center (NJVC) announces the publication of an article on lies that are told about vein disease treatment. According to the New Jersey based center, back in many mothers’ day, things were a lot different when it came to varicose vein treatment. She probably had unpleasant treatments that put her in the hospital, and in the end, she might still have had varicose veins.

Dr. Lowell Kabnick, sole practitioner of NJVC and a top New Jersey vein specialist explains, “That has all changed. In the last couple of decades, vein disease treatment in New Jersey has become minimally invasive, which means that the treatments are done on an outpatient basis, in a pleasant clinic instead of a hospital, and patients don’t need general anesthetics so they are up and on their way the very same day.” These treatments include microphlebectomy, sclerotherapy, and endovenous treatments such as radiofrequency ablation and laser ablation. Dr. Kabnick notes, “Another innovation our mothers didn’t have in their day was ultrasound technology, to visualize the veins deep beneath the skin. Without ultrasound, particularly in the case of patients with swollen legs and ankles, it can be very easy to miss the presence of diseased veins that can’t be seen from the skin’s surface. If diseased veins are missed during treatment, then the varicose veins won’t be eliminated and will continue to cause problems for patients.”

Dr. Kabnick advises anyone with questions about vein disease treatment to contact the New Jersey Vein Center for an appointment. For more information on vein treatments in general, visit the New Jersey Vein Center website at https://lowellkabnickmd.com.

Varicose Vein Treatment Options
Many men and women find themselves suffering from spider veins (small, reddish veins found on the skin’s surface) and varicose veins (larger, bulging veins that often appear blue in color). Although both genders are at risk for varicose and spider veins, women are more likely to experience them than men. There are a number of different vein treatment options available to safely and effectively remove varicose veins.

These minimally invasive treatments, which include radio frequency ablation, sclerotherapy, endovenous laser ablation, and phlebectomy, are the result of recent technological advancements and deliver optimal results without causing unnecessary downtime or unpleasant side effects.
